About the Cove....

Cove Studio is named after the neighborhood where it is located; a small community known as "The Cove", nestled in the woods along the St. Croix River. We draw inspiration from the river, the wooded trails, and the narrow, winding roads.

I spend my days monitoring summer's return. I am gathering images for my next series of paintings, but I have assigned myself the title of "official greeter" for all returning flowers and birds."

About the Prints....

Cove Images, owned by Cove Studio, Inc. , produces museum quality,original prints using 100% cotton, acid-free paper and archival inks. This type of printing process, known as "giclee," is famous for producing brilliant, true colors. Each print is made individually and there is natural and interesting variation within an edition. The artist signs and dates the print and guarantees it against fading for 150 years.

About the Artist in Residence.....

Jan Eldridge has published illustrations of birds all over the world including Europe, Africa, Chile, New Zealand and North America. Her photographs have appeared in magazines such as Audubon, Nature Conservancy, and Natural History.  Her paintings are in private collections from Washington, D.C. to New Mexico.
